82 PROVINCES OF THE PHILIPPINES

Luzon is the largest and most populous island in the Philippines. Because of its size, we can't hide the fact that it also has a large amount of tourist spots and destinations awaiting to be discovered. Phots above are Paoay Church in Ilocos Norte, Anguib Cove and the Palaui Island in Cagayan, and Batad and Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao.

From 81, there are now 82 Provinces in the Philippines

The Visayas archipelago is in the central part of the Philippines. This region is special because it was in Cebu when I had my first solo-backpacking and, at the same time, my first time to step into an airplane. Tourist spots and destinations in the Visayas region are countless from historical, mountains and beaches. Photo above are: (left to right) Mc Arthur Park in Leyte, Boracay island in Aklan, and Magellan's Cross in Cebu.

Many Filipinos would say that Mindanao is not safe for travels and I totally DISAGREE with that! Composed of 27 provinces, had my solo-backpacking to 23 provinces, including Tawi-Tawi, Sulu, Basilan and Marawi City. Photos above are Malamawi Island in Basilan, the Grand Mosque in Cotabato City, and Tinuy-an Falls in Surigao del Sur.
