Today, just noticed that the weather is changing, from the cool air to a warm humid air - this is a proof that summer is coming. Now, I listed some of the must visit summer destinations in the Philippines. First is the world famous Boracay Island. It is one of the best beaches in the world, that’s according to the travel agencies, websites, blogs, magazines and other people’s reviews and I can say “yes it is one of the best!.” The fine, white sand on the shoreline can be compared to a baby powder.  The pristine, crystalline water is really adorable, as it serves as a mirror of the blue skies. Mt. Pulag

Mt. Pulag is one of best in terms of beauty and experience. The famous “Sea of Clouds” is the famous feature that this mountain can be proud of. It is said that it's the Goddess of the Mountains. This island is still virgin and unexplored; so the locals are still living in the primitive way, so expect a real adventure in the island. Baguio City is the summer capital of the Philippines and the home of the gorgeous Panagbenga Festival. Because of its elevation, the weather is cold even the sun is striking. Mt. Batulao is just few minutes travel from Tagaytay City, so expect for a cool weather. It's less than two hours trek to the summit where the green grass on the surface of the mountain are all refreshing in the eyes. Borawan Island is a small islet is located in Padre Burgos, Quezon, Philippines.  According to the caretaker I spoke to, the name of the islet was given by Father Vargas who discovered the islet.  This islet is made up of a large stone in irregular shape, covered with grass and trees. Buntot Palos and the Hidden Falls is situated in Brgy. Balian, Pangil, Laguna (3-hours travel from Manila). It is one of the eye dropping water falls located in the province. The water falling from above is really cool and the pressure is perfect for your tired muscles. The area has is covered with plants and the fresh air is blowing; plus the locals are friendly. Magalawa is an island that will suit your need and I am sure, you’ll place it on you bucket list. Located in the town of Palauig, Zambales, six hours travel from Manila. The island has two great resorts; Ruiz and Armada Resort. They both have find sand beaches and a gorgeous sand bar. The island is surrounded by crystal clear waters and gorgeous underwater fauna. Wawa Dam is a man made dam to support and balance the water level going to nearby barangays and was constructed by the American soldiers. This is also the place where the folklore of Bernardo Carpio happened. Today, this place is the perfect spot for suiting the tired muscles after hiking Mts. Binacayan, Pamitinan and Haponang Banoy.
