About Cata-Al World War 2 Museum
The Cata-Al World War II Museum in Valencia, Negros Oriental, is a hidden gem that takes visitors back to one of the most pivotal times in history. Established by Porferio Cata-Al Sr. and his family, the museum houses an extensive collection of World War II relics, including weapons, uniforms, helmets, and personal memorabilia left behind by Japanese, American, and Filipino soldiers. More than just a gallery, it offers a rare glimpse into wartime stories that shaped both the province and the nation.
It started as a private personal collection but was expanded as a museum to let the new generation see what things were used during the Second World War. This World War 2 Museum is a newly developed tourist spot and destination in Valencia, Negros Oriental.

When we arrived at the museum, we were welcomed by Mr. Constantino Cata-Al. The museum is clean and organized; however, due to its age, some items are damaged. There are no entrance fees, but a donation is highly recommended to preserve and maintain what's on display.
Summary
A visit to the Cata-Al World War II Museum is not only an educational experience but also a meaningful way to honor the sacrifices of those who lived through the war.
