About Tanay Adventure Camp
Tanay Adventure Camp, nestled in the scenic mountains of Rizal, is a haven for thrill-seekers, nature lovers, and team-building enthusiasts. I was invited to join the TAC Attack, an anniversary celebration held at the camp. And this year, they have added a lot of activities such as the ultra-marathon and outdoor cook fest. Since we had a scheduling issue, we opted to travel at 7 in the evening and arrive at the camp around midnight. Upon arrival, we met and greeted a few people at the event, feeling like superstars, then set up our camp and had dinner. By 2 AM, we proceeded to the Maharlika Hall and witnessed the start of the 1st Conquer Ultramarathon.
Then, we greeted the organizers at the hall and headed back to our campsite. The others had their socials, but I chose to take a beauty rest. Te Sha and I woke up at 5 AM and enjoyed the cool, fresh air blowing through the leaves of the trees surrounding the camp. When the sun rises, the activities for the second day also start. Camping: The Best Way to Enjoy Tanay Adventure Camp. At Camp Banahaw, the area where we camped, there’s access to see and hear the screams of people who have tried the famous Zipline.
Of course, this huge outdoor event can’t be successful without the help of its sponsors. There were outdoor products on sale outside the Maharlika Hall, some of which were from Conquer and Deuter Philippines.
Deuter Philippines selling their bags with 15-30 percent OFF at the event. Nakaka-guilty lang talaga kasi hindi ko nabili yung 28L na backpack kahit naka SALE ito. Pero alam kong darating ang panahong makukuha ko din ang bag nayun, kaunting panahon nalang.
My favorite part - wall climbing. Look! I am almost on top. All activities at Tanay Adventure Camp are securely and adequately maintained by experienced personnel. Their priority is to let people enjoy the activities without worrying about security. TAC Attack did it well! I’m looking forward to TAC Attack 6.
How to Get to Tanay Adventure Park
In Crossing, Ortigas Extension, or Cubao area, ride a jeepney or an FX and then alight in Tanay Market or at PureGold Tanay. Beside PureGold, you can charter a tricycle to Tanay Adventure Camp for 250 pesos. To return to Manila, we retraced our steps to the main entrance of TAC, where we chartered a tricycle to Puregold and then rode a jeepney to Crossing.
