If you're looking for an adventure, Tanay Adventure Camp is one perfect places you can visit, just two to three hours near Manila. In 2014, I was invited to join the TAC Attack, an annual anniversary celebration held at the camp. This year, a lot of activities were added to their itinerary, such as the ultra-marathon and outdoor cook fest. Since we a had problem with our availability, we opt to travel by 7 in the evening to Tanay and we arrived at the camp around midnight. Travel itinerary listed below.
Best Activities To Try
Upon arrival, we met and greeted a few people at the event, feeling super star kami eeh, then set our camp and had our dinner. By 2AM we proceeded to the Maharlika Hall and witnessed the start of the 1st Conquer Ultramarathon.
After the start of the Ultramarathon, we also greeted some of the organizers at the hall before going back to our camp site. The others had their socials but I chose to take a beauty rest. Te Sha and I woke up by 5AM and enjoyed the cool and fresh air blowing the leaves of the trees surrounding the camp. When the sun rises, the activities for the second day also started. At Camp Banahaw, the spot where we camped, there’s an access to see and hear the screams of the people who tried the famous Zip line. Photo above also shows how gorgeous and relaxing the ambiance at the TAC.

Of course, this huge outdoor event can’t be successful without the help of its sponsors. There were outdoor products on SALE outside the Maharlika Hall, some of these are Conquer and Deuter Philippines.
Deuter Philippines selling their bags with 15-30 percent OFF at the event. Nakaka-guilty lang talaga kasi hindi ko nabili yung 28L na backpack kahit naka SALE ito. Pero alam kong darating ang panahong makukuha ko din ang bag nayun, kaunting panahon nalang.
My favorite part - wall climbing. Look! I am almost on top. All the activities at Tanay Adventure Camp are secured and properly maintained by experienced people. Their priority is to let people enjoy the activities without worrying about security. TAC Attack did it well! Can’t wait for TAC Attack 6.

You can take a
ride in Jeepneys and FX at Crossing, Ortigas Extension and Cubao area and then
alight in Tanay Market or at PureGold Tanay. Beside PureGold, you can charter a
tricycle to Tanay Adventure Camp for 250 pesos (September 2016). Going back to
Manila | At the main entrance of TAC, we chartered a tricycle back to PureGold
and rode in a jeepney to Crossing.
