Pamitinan is a bit challenging, but will definitely give you an amazing and wide view of the greens surrounding Wawa Dam and part of the Sierra Madre.

If you're looking for a remarkable activity, Tanay Adventure Camp is a perfect place you can visit, just two to three hours from Manila. In 2014, I was invited to join the TAC Attack, an annual anniversary celebration held at the camp. And this year, they have added a lot of activities such as the ultra-marathon and outdoor cook fest. Since we had a problem with our schedules, we opted to travel by 7 in the evening and arrive at the camp around midnight. Upon arrival, we met and greeted a few people at the event, feeling superstars kami eeh, then set up our camp and had our dinner. By 2 AM, we proceeded to the Maharlika Hall and witnessed the start of the 1st Conquer Ultramarathon.

This happened after enjoying the famous Higantes Festival; while our clothes were wet, we headed to this special restaurant.

Higantes Festival is an annual festivities held every November 23 in Angono, Rizal; its main purpose is to honor San Clemente, patron saint of the fishermen. His image is carried by male devotees during the procession, followed by the street dancers and participants. Higantes (Giants in English) is made up of paper mosaic handcrafted by the artistic minds of the people of Angono.

I have been planning to visit the historical and century-old churches in Pasig and the province of Rizal and the plan became a reality after 11 months. Today is the perfect day and the perfect season because it is my Visita Iglesia in a backpacking style.
