Getting Around Catanduanes

There are jeepneys, vans, and tricycles you can charter to visit the stunning tourist attractions in the province. In our case, to go to Binurong Point and other tourist spots, or by the gate of Puraran Beach, we met and chartered Kuya Arthur, a very friendly and accommodating trike driver stationed at the carinderia. The tricycle fee is 500 pesos.

How to Get to Puraran Surf Beach Resort

  • By Air: Cebu Pacific has a direct flight from Manila to Virac Airport, then ride a tricycle to the port area where the vans to Gigmoto are stationed.
  • By Land: There are bus lines with a direct route from Manila to Virac. The gateway is Tabaco City Port, where you can ride a ferry to either Virac or San Andres Port. You can check prices and book your tickets via the Easybus Ph or Isarog Facebook pages.
