Hiking Mt. Apo - Day 2
Day 2 of the Mount Apo trek takes hikers through dense mossy forests, river crossings, and steep ascents surrounded by rich biodiversity. The trail gradually transitions into volcanic terrain with massive boulders and sulfur vents, signaling proximity to the summit camp. Trekkers usually reach the high camp by late afternoon, setting up tents beneath a canopy of stars and preparing for the early summit push the next day.

Though challenging, Day 2 reveals the raw and rugged beauty of Mount Apo’s midsection. Each step brings hikers closer to the peak and builds anticipation for the final climb.
