When I was still in Romblon, I didn't expect that my career would be boosted here in Metro Manila, particularly in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. It was in 2008 when I started working in a
BPO, but it's my first time adding this place in
SirangLente or
TravellingCup.
Ortigas Center has a lot to offer, from the five-star hotels with world-class facilities, restaurants serving mouth-watering delicacies made by people from different parts of the world, call center companies serving different languages, and many others.
In Ortigas Center, you can find huge vertical structures like hotels suitable for business and personal accommodation, condominiums, banks, malls with hundreds of shops, and small and large companies; all of them are amazingly gorgeous, especially in the evening. This area is surrounded by thousands of different stunning colors that appear to be dancing with the wind from afar. The cars and the people are moving intelligently and accordingly with the help of the street lights; Ortigas Center really has superb security.
Like what I mentioned, Ortigas Center also has a world class restaurants serving delicious delicacies with a lot of choices, depending on your taste. There are inspired by pure Filipino cuisine, American, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, and other blended menus. Coffee shops like Starbucks, Figaro and the Coffee Bean are present in almost every corner of the streets. Of course, we can't miss the prominent fast-foods like Jollibee, McDonald's, KFC, and many others.
