About Sabtang Island

Sabtang Island is one of the three main inhabited islands of Batanes. It is home to centuries-old Ivatan stone houses, rugged coastal cliffs, white-sand beaches, and picture-perfect viewpoints. Unlike Basco and the more accessible Batan Island towns, Sabtang retains a quieter and more traditional atmosphere, offering visitors an authentic Ivatan experience.

The island is accessible via a short faluwa boat ride from the Ivana Port, usually included in the standard Sabtang Tour.
