About Mt. Hamiguitan
Mt. Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Davao Oriental. Rising at 1,620 MASL, it is globally renowned for its bonsai pygmy forest, diverse flora and fauna, and conservation efforts. This mountain is home to several endangered species like the Philippine eagle and pitcher plants, and is a sanctuary for science, spirituality, and eco-adventure seekers alike. It is one of the most protected and restricted climbs in Mindanao.
