Ligñon Hill has a perfect view of Mt. Mayon

Ligñon Hill

Ligñon Hill has a beautiful landscape and a 360-degree view of Legaspi City and Mt. Mayon. By the way, after Daraga Church, we headed to this stunning place. Kuya Lijong dropped us by the entrance, and we settled the payment, but he left. Instead of a continuous ascent, we had a buko break first. Relaxed and regained the fluid we lost. The road to the summit is concrete and surrounded by hardwood trees, so the ambiance while we were walking was relaxing, with the cold wind blowing. And after 30 minutes, we finally reached the summit. Beautiful landscape and a 360-degree view of Legaspi City and the hidden Mt. Mayon. Commercial establishments such as souvenir shops and food stalls are available. By the way, restrooms are also available.

How to Get Here

  • By Air: Book a direct flight to Bicol International Airport (DRP). Travel time is an hour and 20 minutes.
  • By Land: From Manila, EDSA, Cubao, or PITX, take a bus bound for Legazpi City in Albay. The travel time is 9 to 10 hours. Bus lines include  Penafrancia, Cagsawa, DLTB, and many others.
  • By Sea: From Manila, there are bus lines that also arrange door-to-door via RoRo. On the other hand, tourists from Visayas, such as Cebu, Masbate, and Leyte Provinces, can take ferries.
