Isabela is the second-largest province in the Philippines by land area, situated in the heart of the Cagayan Valley region (Region II) in northeastern Luzon. Bounded by Cagayan to the north, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao to the west, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino to the south, and the vast Philippine Sea to the east, its provincial capital is Ilagan City, while Santiago City serves as its independent commercial center.
