Potipot Island

It is an islet situated in Brgy. Uacon, Municipality of Candelaria; a few hours of land travel from Manila. Before the coves of San Antonio were discovered, this island was first hailed as one of the finest gems of the province because of its fine white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and relaxing ambiance. Since it is separated from the mainland and is in a remote area, a few visitors can only visit.

The long stretch of shoreline facing the West Philippine Sea has fine white sand, crystal clear waters, the ambiance is absolutely refreshing and more to offer. Having said that, Zambales is considered a top tourist destination in the region. Magalawa Island (photo above) has fine white sand, like Boracay, and is surrounded by crystal clear waters. Magalawa Island is a stunning place with crystal water and fine white sand beaches. Since Zambales is located in the northwest of Luzon, facing the West Philippine Sea, a lot of gorgeous beaches are yet to be discovered, and Magalawa is just one of them. There are a few stretches of fine white sand and island beaches that are picture-perfect. By the way, after our outreach program was held at one of the Aeta Communities in Iba, Zambales, we proceeded to this paradise. It's almost an hour's travel from Iba, passing on the concrete roads by the beach, yet we were rewarded with amazing beauty.
