1. Tinalisayan Island

Tinalisayan Island was our second destination from Alibijaban Island to the Burias Islands. Traveling from Animasola Island to this island takes an hour, but this is irrevocably number one among the three islands we visited. When I jumped off the boat and landed in the shallow, crystal clear water, I easily felt a relaxing feeling because the water was cool, contrary to the heat and UV rays from the sun. Our boat was parked by the tip of the sandbar, so walking on the long stretch of fine and powdery white sand, with the other visitors in their colorful swimming attire, was just awesome! This long sandbar always greets the visitors with breathtaking beauty.

About Tinalisayan Island

Tinalisayan Island was our second destination from Alibijaban Island to the Burias Islands. When I jumped off the boat and landed in the shallow, crystal clear water, I easily felt a relaxing feeling because the water was really cool, contrary to the heat and UV rays from the sun. This long sandbar always greets visitors with breathtaking beauty.

Sombrero Island, Masbate's finest white sand beach

Sombrero Island is one of the islets of Burias Group of Islets. Crossing the waters from Tinalisayan to this island was a heart-pounding experience. Not only that, as we were getting nearer to the shoreline, coral ecosystems and underwater flora and fauna were visible because of its clear waters. I took off my pink sando while on the boat because my skin hurt, a sign that, for sure, I would have sun-kissed skin due to sunburn, but it's fine, am positive that my skin will still recover after a week. Instead of covering ourselves or applying Belo sunblock before jumping off the boat into the shallow water, we just grabbed our cameras and started walking by the shore.
