About Taipei Zoo
Taipei Zoo (臺北市立動物園), affectionately known as Muzha Zoo by locals, is the largest zoological park in Southeast Asia and one of the premier conservation facilities in East Asia. Spanning over 165 hectares in the scenic foothills of Taipei’s Wenshan District, this massive open-air sanctuary houses over 2,400 animals representing more than 350 species from around the globe.
