It is an islet situated in Brgy. Uacon, Municipality of Candelaria; a few hours of land travel from Manila. Before the coves of San Antonio were discovered, this island was first hailed as one of the finest gems of the province because of its fine white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and relaxing ambiance. Since it is separated from the mainland and is in a remote area, a few visitors can only visit.

Best Travel Destinations in the Philippines

Traveling to the best tourist attractions and destinations in the Philippines for the past twelve months is definitely rewarding. I was able to meet a lot of people from different provinces with different cultures and beliefs. The unique and explainable excitement that I feel every time I create my travel guide and itinerary always results in an exquisite experience. Thank you for all your support!
Agnaem or Agnain Cove, Zambales
Our group, group, Batang Hamog Mountaineers, is now at 8! The original plan was to celebrate in Talisayin Cove, in Zambales, however, due to inter-tropical convergence zone and a typhoon in Northern Seaboard, the Coast Guard did not allow all small motorized sea vessel to go farther. Instead, we were brought to Agnaem Cove, a secluded area which 10-15 minutes boat ride from Pundaquit.
Ramon Magsaysay Ancestral House
A stunning color of Magsaysay's ancestral house. |
Another attraction in Zambales is the ancestral house of former President Ramon Magsaysay in the Municipality of Castillejos. After celebrating Batang Hamog Mountaineers' 7th Anniversary at Silanguin Cove, this ancestral house was our side trip. While heading back to Manila, we decided to stop by because it looked unique, and it was the house of the Seventh President of the Philippine Republic. It was Lucky 7; we were in the 7th Year and visited the house of the 7th President of the Philippines. Ma-connect lang talaga no?? This ancestral house houses furniture, photos, medallions, and other memorabilia.
