Marinduque Tourist Spot

1. Maniwaya Island

When Boracay island was closed, other comparable beaches were recognized - Maniwaya Island in Marinduque is one of those. The province is considered the heart of the Philippine archipelago and the neighbor of my hometown - Romblon. Gorgeous images of this island spread on social media which captured my interest. There are fine white sand beaches, amazing landscapes, crystal clear water, a vast diversity of underwater creatures, and many more; the photos below will explain more.

About Nueva Ecija:

Nueva Ecija is one of the provinces in Region - 3 or commonly known as Central Luzon. It earned the title of Rice Granaries of the Philippines because they are the top rice producer in the country; a proof that their wide and green rice fields are healthy. In history, Nueva Ecija is one of the 8 rays of the sun on the Philippine Flag. In general, this province has a great combination of gorgeous landscape, stunning tourist attractions and recommended destinations that you shouldn't miss. Local delicacies such as carabao milk products are highly recommended. Below is a list of tourist destinations for travelers and motorcycle riders.

Camarines Norte Tourist Spot

1. Apuao Island

Now, I'll bring you to one of the unrated paradises in the entire Bicol region - the Apuao Island - one of the  Mercedes Group of Islands small islands. This deserted island has a lot to offer, from the cool and crystal clear emerald waters, wealthy underwater, breathtaking landscape, tranquility and relaxing ambiance, and, of course, the good people. Travel time is about 7 to 8 hours from Manila to Mercedes via private van, but I was able to see and experience that remarkable beauty.

Sumaguing Cave

It is another top tourist attraction in Sagada. Inside Sumaguing Cave, you can find a sparkling work of art carved by nature. Although trekking is not easy because you need to hop on and off the slippery boulders, in the end, you will be rewarded with a world-class beauty with a big picture of stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Also, you will not stop using your imagination because the boulders and shadows create unique images, making its wall a natural grandeur.

Hanging Coffins

The Hanging Coffins of Sagada is definitely the top tourist attractions in Mountain Province. It captured the world's attention because it is one of the unique burial sites. Also, the photo above says, "It's not easy, to send someone to the next life," so their way of sending their loved ones to the final resting place is phenomenal. Archeologists cannot identify the age of the coffins, but one thing for sure is that they are from centuries ago.

Sagada Tourist Spot

1. Hanging Coffins

It is the most iconic tourist spot in Mountain Province. The photo above shows a unique way of putting the local's loved ones to their final resting place. Their way of saying "Goodbye" is challenging, agree? How do they prepare? The elderly would carve their own coffin out of a log but if they are ill or too weak, their families prepare it instead. Not only that, they place the body in a fetal position as they believe that the spirit would leave the world in the same position as they were born. The coffins are also small, so they would break the bones to fit the body into the coffin. Lastly, they tucked them into crevices or stacked them inside the caves. The height at which coffins are placed also symbolizes their social status.

Blossom Campus (Korean BL)

The drama depicts Kim Min Jae, a transfer student majoring in Practical Music and working part-time at the library, and Lee Kyu Ho, a Taekwondo major who helped him. Since their first meeting, the two have become entangled and closer, leading them to develop a romantic relationship. Source X: BLUPDATE2022. Kiseki: Dear to Me (Taiwan BL 2023)

 

As an aspiring doctor, Bai Zongyi (Taro Lin) feels compelled to help those in need around him. So when fate brings the injured gangster, Fan Jheruei (Hsu Kai) into his life, Zongyi can’t turn him away. Taking Jheruei into his own home, Zongyi nurses the wounded man back to health. As Jheruei’s injuries slowly heal, the walls standing between the two men begin to crumble. Setting ideals and prejudices aside, Zongyi and Jheruei begin to understand and appreciate each other. As their relationship continues to grow, love naturally blossoms but what should have ended in “happily ever after” only ends in heartbreak when Zongyi is incarcerated for Jheruei’s mistakes.
